Bass in Shrewsbury

Hey everyone, has no body been out or no news to share about the bassin! ?
Made it out today and the bite was on!

Great day out with my son. Managed 8 bass and two great crappie.

We did real well fishing the puffs of weeds on the sanD flats. Lots of tanks

Bass limit should be lower IMO - shame to see so many nice ones get pulled every year.

Nice haul though!

I did really well yesterday too. Lost count at over 30 and my best 5 easily with 19+. Great day for punching mats in that heat :)

All mine were caught and released however. I don't mind the odd perch/pike/crappie/walleye/trout meal for the table, but bass I mostly just like to catch for fun.

Exactly with all the amazing eating fish we have around here I really never understood why people keep bass - especially those bigger ones.
